Best Padel Clubs in London (2026)
Best Padel Clubs in London (2026)

London now has one of the fastest-growing padel scenes in Europe.

Whether you’re brand new to padel or playing several times a week, there’s a club in London that fits your level, schedule and vibe. Some are social-first, some are performance-led, and others sit somewhere in between.

This guide breaks down the best padel clubs in London in 2026, what makes each one different, where they’re located, how you book courts, and how to choose the right club for you.

1. Rocket Padel

Vibe: Depends on the location - community-led in Beckton & Ilford, more premium and destination-driven in Battersea
Best for: All athletes, from beginners to advanced

Why it stands out:
Rocket Padel is one of the most recognisable names in UK padel, and for good reason. The experience varies slightly by location, but quality is consistent across the board.

Beckton & Ilford locations lean heavily into a local, community-driven feel, while Battersea feels more premium and social. In our opinion, Battersea is one of the best-located padel clubs in London. It’s right on the Northern line, easy to reach from the city, close to Waterloo, and next to Battersea Park and Battersea Power Station.

That means you can play, grab food or drinks on site, or make a full day of it with shopping and restaurants nearby. All Rocket Padel sites have solid retail spaces for balls and essentials, and food and drink offerings are consistently good.

Rocket also sees a high volume of open matches, making it one of the easiest places in London to jump into a game without organising a group.

Location: Battersea, Ilford & Beckton
Courts: Indoor
Booking platform: Padel Mates

Highlights:

  • Top-quality courts that play very well
  • Strong social and open-match calendar
  • Coaching for all levels
  • Slightly premium pricing, but good value for the experience

2. PadelBox (Bermondsey)

Vibe: Warm, community-led, design-forward
Best for: Athletes who value atmosphere as much as the game

Why it stands out:
PadelBox Bermondsey is a little harder to reach than some other clubs, but it’s absolutely worth the trip. The interiors are beautifully designed, the café and bar are excellent (the coffee is genuinely great), and the entire club feels thoughtfully put together.

The community here is what really stands out. Everyone we’ve interacted with - staff and athletes alike - has been incredibly welcoming. When we played here, the people we played against even offered us a lift back to the station. That sums up the vibe perfectly.

The mezzanine overlooking the courts is a huge plus. You can play, shower, then sit with a coffee or a drink, work, or watch other matches. That puts PadelBox firmly in our top three clubs in London and makes it ideal for events.

Location: Bermondsey
Courts: Indoor
Booking platform: Playtomic

Highlights:

  • Beautiful interiors and retail space
  • Excellent café and bar
  • Outstanding community feel
  • Mezzanine perfect for working or spectating

3. Padel Padel (Eltham)

Vibe: Relaxed, friendly, welcoming
Best for: Social play and summer padel

Why it stands out:
Padel Padel hasn’t officially opened yet, but we’ve seen behind the scenes - and it’s going to be special. Built by two mid-20s founders who are genuinely warm and welcoming, we expect that energy to flow straight through the club.

While Eltham is technically outside central London, it’s only around 20 minutes from London Bridge by train, and the club is very close to Eltham station. That makes it far more accessible than it sounds.

We expect Padel Padel to really shine in summer 2026, with a chilled-out atmosphere and a strong community feel. This is one to watch.

Location: Eltham
Courts: Outdoor
Booking platform: Playtomic

Highlights:

  • Friendly, welcoming ownership
  • Easy access from London Bridge
  • Set to be a summer hotspot

4. Racketeer

Vibe: Modern, ambitious, community-driven
Best for: Athletes who want quality facilities and structure

Why it stands out:
Racketeer arrived with a lot of hype - and crucially, it’s delivered. The centre is very well designed, the courts play excellently, and the staff are genuinely friendly.

It’s one of London’s larger padel venues, with plenty of space and strong transport links from central and northwest London. There’s also a big emphasis on the women’s padel community, which has helped Racketeer build a strong and inclusive culture.

There’s still unused space on site, and we’re excited to see how that evolves over time.

Location: North Acton
Courts: 11 courts, indoor
Booking platform: Padel Mates

Highlights:

  • One of London’s biggest padel centres
  • Excellent courts and facilities
  • Strong women’s padel offering
  • Very well executed overall

5. The Padel Yard

Vibe: Social, energetic, summer-focused
Best for: Social padel and long summer evenings

Why it stands out:
The Padel Yard has two locations - Wandsworth and Vauxhall - and truly comes into its own in the summer. With fewer covered courts, winter play can be challenging, but when the weather’s good, it’s one of the most enjoyable places to play padel in London.

Wandsworth in particular becomes a real hotspot. You can play mid-afternoon, then stay into the evening with music, drinks and a lively crowd. Retail and hot drinks are fairly limited, but the drinks selection overall is solid.

Location: Wandsworth & Vauxhall
Courts: Mostly outdoor, some indoor
Booking platform: Matchi

Highlights:

  • Brilliant summer atmosphere
  • Friendly crowd
  • Great place to stay after your game
  • Less suitable for winter play

6. Padel Social Club

Vibe: Social-first, fun, relaxed
Best for: Casual competition and meeting people

Why it stands out:
Padel Social Club is another venue that truly shines in summer. If the sun is out, there are few places better. Sessions are social, the coaching is good, and the food and drink offering is strong.

Winter conditions can be tough, but for around half the year, it’s one of the best padel experiences in London. The Earl’s Court location is especially convenient, right by Earl’s Court and West Brompton stations on the District line. The O2 site is also solid, though not quite as strong as Earl’s Court.

Location: Earl’s Court & The O2
Courts: Mostly outdoor
Booking platform: Playtomic

Highlights:

  • Excellent summer atmosphere
  • Friendly, social sessions
  • Strong food and drink offering
  • Less comfortable in winter

7. Padium

Vibe: Premium, performance-led
Best for: Treat-yourself sessions and serious improvement

Why it stands out:
Everything about Padium feels premium - from the courts and changing rooms to the mezzanine and retail space. It’s expensive, but you can see where the money goes.

The coaching has a strong reputation, the venue is excellent for hosting events, and the top-level mezzanine gives a panoramic view across all courts. One thing to note: like many large covered venues, it can feel cold in winter.

Location: Canary Wharf
Courts: High-end indoor courts
Booking platform: Padel Mates

Highlights:

  • Outstanding facilities
  • Premium retail and viewing areas
  • Strong coaching and event hosting
  • Expensive, but a great experience

8. Stratford Padel Club

Vibe: Community-first, welcoming, established
Best for: Athletes who want padel to feel like a club, not just a booking

Why it stands out:
Stratford Padel Club is one of the oldest padel clubs in London, and it shows in the best way. This is a place built around people.

The club has multiple indoor courts, excellent food (genuinely some of the best we’ve had at a padel club), and a strong drinks offering. Everyone - staff and athletes alike - is kind, welcoming and happy to chat.

Bookings can be competitive due to their own booking system, but if you want padel to be about community as much as playing, this is one of the best options in London.

Location: Stratford
Courts: Indoor
Booking platform: Club booking system

Highlights:

  • One of London’s most established clubs
  • Strong community culture
  • Excellent food and drink
  • Harder to book, but worth it

What Makes a Good Padel Club?

A great padel club isn’t just about the courts — it’s about the full experience.

Key things to look for:

  • Location and transport links
  • Court quality and lighting
  • Booking systems (Playtomic, Matchi, Padel Mates)
  • Community and open matches
  • Coaching, leagues and events

Indoor vs Outdoor Padel in London

Indoor padel

  • Weather-proof
  • Consistent conditions
  • Ideal for winter and evenings

Outdoor padel

  • Fresh air and natural light
  • Often more social
  • Usually better in summer

Most London athletes mix both: indoor in winter, outdoor in summer.
